(beta) Welcome to the landing page for SWFLN Events!
Here you will find SWFLN events like mini-conferences under development. As we move those events into a beta release you will be able to get updated information ASAP. Then when we go live, you will find all major SWFLN events listed here in one easy location, for easy reference. You will also find the initial announcement at the SWFLN Calendar page.
Using wikis and the web to host more of our content allows you to:
1. Get updated information as soon as we post it
2. Be able to find all past conference materials, links, schedules, presenter information, locations and dates
3. Go to one location find current, coming and past events
4. Attend a conference that took place in the past as we build the archive
Below you'll find three categories: Present, Coming and Past events. Since we know many of you like to attend events if cannot make them, the goal is to collect all materials and post them to each event wiki. As we employ more technologies at each conference, the goal one day is to have all sessions streaming video and then archved here along with the presentation materials. This would allow you to attend any conference that you couldn't get to in person. Again, you'll be able to do this live or through each event archive! (Consider that statement under development or "beta").
